LA Fires Kids Healing Circle

A 6-Week Therapy Group for Children Ages 6–12

In the wake of the LA wildfires, many children are left feeling scared, confused, or unsettled. The LA Fires Kids Healing Circle is a gentle, supportive therapy group designed to help children process their experiences, connect with others, and begin to heal in a safe and nurturing space.

Over the course of six weeks, children ages 6–12 will come together through creative activities, storytelling, art, movement, and play-based techniques that support emotional expression, nervous system regulation, and a sense of safety. This group is led by EMDR child therapists who specialize in trauma and resilience-building, creating a space where each child is seen, heard, and supported. The group will integrate evidence based protocols from EMDR therapy G-TEP with play therapy and expressive arts.

Parents will also receive optional weekly updates and tips to support their child’s healing at home.

Who: Children ages 6–12 affected by the LA wildfires

When: 6-week series. June 11-July 16, Wednesdays at 10 am PST

Where: In-Person at SAW Pasadena Office

If your child has been impacted by the fires—directly or indirectly—we welcome them to join this circle of care, connection, and healing.

Donation-based or covered by accepted insurance plans.

All co-pays will be waived. No child will be turned away due to financial hardship.
