Through every project, donation, grant, or initiative, the Tucker Community Foundation aims to spark the spirit of philanthropy in the communities we serve. This is a mindset of taking care of what we have, working to improve what we can, and giving without expecting anything in return.
Join this spirit of philanthropy on Saturday, September 6th in downtown Parsons for a community-wide Day of Service. Thanks to a grant from Volunteer West Virginia, we will ring in the autumn season with a cleaning and beautification initiative throughout town. From picking up trash to mural painting and adding fall flowers and decor, there are many ways to contribute!
The service will run from 8:30am to noon, with the opportunity to come and go as needed. There will be a free picnic lunch in the pocket park for all volunteers at noon. This is a chance to work alongside your friends and neighbors, creating the change you want to see!

This is a community driven effort, so we are still accepting ideas for service-related tasks from the public! If your organization, church, or group would like to contribute as a separate unit, contact Taylor Ambrose at
