Creating a Climate of Care at Work: Attracting & Retaining Today’s Workforce

Today’s employees - especially Gen Z - are looking for more than a paycheck. They want workplaces where they feel connected, supported, and aligned with values. In this interactive Lunch & Learn, Dr. Carrie Nolan will introduce the CARE framework (Community, Action, Reflection, Environment) as a practical tool for creating a climate of care at work. Through discussion, a hands-on exercise, and a case study, participants will explore how CARE practices can increase staff loyalty, improve recruitment, and strengthen workplace culture. Everyone will leave with concrete strategies to put into practice in their own business.
