Step through the doorway of Old Government House Parramatta and into a living fairy tale. “Once Upon a Grimm Night” is an intimate interactive adventure where you’re invited to follow whispered clues lend a hand with simple tasks and help uncover the story as it unfolds around you. The veil between our world and Everafter is thinning; familiar tales have slipped their bindings and the characters you thought you knew are asking for help.

Guided by the ensemble you’ll be welcomed into a sequence of heritage rooms and scenes: the Narrator sets the scene and Grimm Volkov recruits you to help as he prowls the margins; the Maiden and the Witch draw you into their tangled histories. What you notice the conversations you spark and the prompts you answer make each visit feel personal—your journey is your own even as the tale finds its destined shape.
