Join us on Friday, September 12, 2025, for a very special day as the Parkersburg Police Department welcomes 13-year-old DJ Daniel into its ranks with an official swearing-in ceremony followed by a concert!

DJ has bravely battled brain and spinal cancer, undergoing numerous brain surgeries since 2018. His dream to become a police officer has inspired thousands, and he’s been sworn in by agencies across the country—and even abroad. Now, Parkersburg is proud to join his journey.
