Join us in spreading awareness for mental health with laughter and participation in our 1st annual WEINER DOG race! We are so excited to present this event at the 2025 Parkersburg Homecoming.
Location: 1920 Park Avenue in Parkersburg WV (right next to the flood wall entrance)
Registration: This can be done on the day of the event in-person or you can register online beforehand! Link to be posted on feed.
Entry fee: Bring one food item (or more) for each of your dog(s) participating in the race. The entry fee items will be donated to our local Humane Society Of Parkersburg (HSOP). Some items in need currently at the HSOP, in addition to the bagged/canned dog or cat food, is dog or cat treats, blankets, towels, and cleaning supplies.
Prizes: A certificate and goody bag will be awarded to all “paw”ticipants!
- 1st place also receives a medal, a trophy, and a $100 gift card to PetSmart🐾
- 2nd place also receives a medal, a trophy, and a $50 gift card to PetSmart🐾
- 3rd place also receives a medal, a trophy, and a $25 gift card to PetSmart🐾
