The University of Scouting is a premier training event designed to provide Scout leaders, parents, and older youth with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance their Scouting experience.
It is a one-day event that offers a variety of classes covering all aspects of Scouting, including Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, and adult leadership development. With courses ranging from outdoor skills and advancement strategies to program planning and leadership techniques, participants can tailor their schedules to meet their specific interests and needs.
The event is structured similarly to a university, with multiple "colleges" focusing on different aspects of Scouting. Attendees can choose from a wide array of courses taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about Scouting.
Whether you are a new parent looking to understand the basics or a seasoned Scouter wanting to refine your expertise, the University of Scouting offers valuable opportunities for growth and networking.
This promises to be the Training event of the year! More information and details yet to come!
