The ELEVATION Silent Book Club® Meet & Read Event is a FREE LIVE EVENT intended to encourage relaxed social interaction, mental stimulation, and community connections. It is the ultimate book lover’s escape, where the only sound you’ll hear is the turning of pages and maybe a soft gasp at a plot twist!
Imagine gathering with fellow bibliophiles in a cozy setting without the pressure of a reading list or discussion prompts. You bring your book, find a comfy spot, and dive into your literary world. The best part? There’s no need to chit-chat or make small talk unless you want to. It’s like a bookish sanctuary where introverts and extroverts alike can enjoy some “me time” while being surrounded by others who get that sometimes, the best conversations happen in silence.
Don't stress! This isn't your typical book club... There will be no assigned book to read, no deadlines to keep up with, and no heady, intellectual questions to worry about preparing witty answers for. This is totally relaxed. You get to pick your reading material (or audiobook - just bring headphones please), and enjoy it at your own pace.
I started the ELEVATION Silent Book Club® chapter to help encourage and cultivate social connections, and because reading with friends enriches our lives, makes us happy, and helps us to elevate our lives.
