About me
As the Lee in Lee Likes Bikes, I've been working in mountain bikes since 2002. In that time I've helped millions of riders via video, hundreds of thousands via print, tens of thousands in my web school, and more than 10,000 in person. I offer the only holisitic approach to bike fit, riding skills, physical training and the psychology of joyful shred. Starting this fall I will I proudly serve as adjunct professor of mountain biking at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, CO. I love nothing more than spending the day with like-minded riders and helping you love riding even more.

Recent Google Reviews (they are all 5 stars)
"We traveled to Boulder CO to spend two days riding with Lee McCormack a world class MTB racer and bike designer. We learned more in two days than riding on our own for the last 60 years plus. It was all about geometry, physics, flow and some art. The end result was more control, balance and efficiency. Lee is truly a guru !" - Reggie
"I took the 7 week 14 session fitness class from Lee. It was an awesome experience. A great mix of skills training along with the strength training specifically targeted toward the new skills. What I found great about this format was, instead of packing the training into one day, we got 7 weeks for the concepts to marinate and sink into our "lizard brain". The targeted exercises were rigorous but not overwhelming. Lee has an amazing ability to keep the mood light and positive and focused on learing and improvement. I will do this one again!" - Mike
"Lee is a legendary mountain bike coach, writer, and thinker. You should expect to get exactly what he promises: a combo of fitness drills, riding skills, and psychology that allows you to have the most fun on a bike possible. Even if you think you're an expert, a class with Lee will open up new windows in your riding. I've been mountain biking for 25 years and I've seen every Lee McCormack video I could find, plus I bought his book, and I still found tons of value with an in-person class. Just his feedback on my riding was worth the price of admission." - Jake
"We had fun, we worked hard, and we learned things about mountain biking that we'd never heard before. With Lee as a coach, you can't help but be affected by his enthusiasm and expertise. Even as an experienced rider, you will learn to ride better and safer. Who knows, you may find you love riding all over again." - John
"Lee easily assessed where I was and could clearly communicate immediate improvements to my riding. I left the day a better rider and had drills I could practice at home. Highly recommend." - Jon
"I can't thank Lee enough for changing my entire relationship with mountain biking. As a direct result of a 3-hour lesson with Lee, I can now ride far more technical terrain and be relaxed and confident while doing it. The techniques Lee taught me enabled me to confidently handle steep technical switchbacks, climbing and descending, which always found me off the bike. The modifications to my bike that he suggested, and which I made, have put me in a far better and more efficient riding position. I can now descend steep rock rolloffs without fear of an endo and without getting thrown around. If you want to love MTB even more than you do and understand the objective techniques that will get you through and over obstacles that always gave you trouble, sign up for a lesson with Lee. It will be the best investment in your fun and safety you will ever make." - Richard
