Join us at Deja Vu Gardens Galore Nursery for a lecture that will include information on all things to consider when designing your fragrant pollinator garden, the plants that attract the pollinators you’re looking for—the pollinator whisperers, (butterflies, hummingbirds, dragonflies, bees and/or more), how to select color for every season, as well as a massive list of options. The best-of-the-best plants and shrubs in the industry, for your pollinator buffet garden and oasis.
We will also discuss the best plants for direct sun exposure or shade, if needed, spacing, planting, and transplanting, dead-heading and pruning to promote more flowers, watering, fertilizing techniques, winter cut-back, and so much more… In addition, our class participants will learn the importance of amending our clay soils, using non-burning root boosters to assist in establishing your roots and plants well, future maintenance, and mulching, as well as tips and tricks to protect deer from if your landscape is open and not fenced.
We will follow the lecture with an Open Q & A Forum to address all the questions our participants may have on fragrant pollinator plants based on their needs and desires.
In addition, we will provide a group tour of our nursery bedding plants and shrubs showing the many different varieties we have available and the multitude of options encouraging questions during our tour.
