Join Deja Vu Gardens Galore Nursery in their Greenhouse for a FREE CLASS on Growing, Purchasing, and Gifting Houseplants--The Art of Success! All things you need to know to grow house plants, their care, pest and disease control, transplanting, watering, pruning or deadheading and fertilization.
Our lecture will include information on all things to consider when purchasing, growing or gifting house plants. Learn about selection—based on ease or difficulty to care for, sun exposure, which varieties can weather the hot summer temps and be outdoors during the spring and summer months, as well as winter protection.
Participants will also learn sun exposure locations, low-light and plants that thrive in it, common pests and diseases to watch for and how to combat with natural remedies, best watering and fertilizing practices, and so much more.
In addition, our class participants will learn the importance of using good potting soil, non-burning root boosters, future maintenance, as well as tips and tricks.
We will then follow the lecture with an Open Q & A Forum to address all the questions our participants may have on house plants based on their needs and desires.
In addition, we will provide a group tour of the nursery greenhouse and the many different varieties we have available and the multitude of options encouraging questions during our tour.
