Canned Food Drive & Truck Parade of Lights, Saturday, December 6th, 2025
Come rain or shine, the Annual Truck Parade of Lights and Canned Food Drive will be taking place again in Paradise CA on Saturday, December 6th, 2025.
While we’re all thinking about Thanksgiving, and other autumn activities, we wanted to give you a nudge that the 2025 Truck Light Parade will be held on Saturday, December 6th. Staging is again at our very good friends, Thomas Ace Hardware, (5720 Clark Road, Paradise, CA) at 3:30 P.M. All trucks register at the store entrance. PLEASE BRING PROOF OF AUTO INSURANCE WHEN YOU REGISTER! PER PARADISE PD: ALL OFF-ROAD VEHICLES MUST BE BACK ON TRAILERS AFTER THE PARADE; ALL LIGHTS RETURNED TO STANDARD HEADLIGHT AND RUNNING LIGHTS AFTER THE PARADE. Judging begins at 5:00 P.M. Trophies presented before the parade starts just after dark – listen for the bullhorn calling drivers. Entrance fee for the parade is non-perishable, non-expired Food! Please Note: Unless you are a contestant in the parade, please do not park in the Thomas Ace Hardware parking lot so there is plenty of room for the contestants. We are strongly requesting, along with the Paradise PD, that you do not throw anything from your vehicle during the parade! It is just too risky for the children in the dark. For the safety of everyone, please watch the parade from the parade route: Trucks travel west on Pearson, past the Community Park, north on Skyway to the Shopping Center at 6848 Skyway. PLEASE NOTE: Skyway will be closed during the parade and Pearson will be partially closed. Please make plans to be in place on the parade route before 5:30 PM!
DADCO Construction has already ordered trophies, participation ribbons, writing press releases and much more – Shoot! DADCO’s owner has already been out buying new lights for our entry! So, start thinking and planning and drawing out this year’s entry in the Truck Light Parade! We’ll see you on Saturday, December 6th!
