Celebrate Michigan Trails Week and also North Country National Scenic Trail Day by hiking the most popular trail in the park. The River Trail (NCT) parallels the Tahquamenon River between the Upper and Lower Falls. Total hiking distance, up to 5 miles or more. This trail is considered challenging due to exposed roots, hills and potential mud.
Meet at the Lower Falls parking lot and we will finalize the hiking plans. Carpooling will be necessary to hike from the Upper Falls to the Lower Falls.
