What this workshop will cover
This workshop is a great way to get to know your overlocker. Maybe its a new overlocker or one you just haven’t spent a lot of time using, then this is the workshop for you. The workshop will get you sewing in no time and help in getting through all of those piling projects.
We will cover things like- how to thread your overlocker, getting to know the different dials, changing speeds, how to change the needles, sewing different fabrics and general upkeep of your machine.
Overlockers can be a really useful machine and the aim of this workshop is to familiarise yourself with it enough to start using overlocker for your home sewing projects straight away!

This is a great workshop for beginners or those who want to refresh their skills.
Who is your tutor
Our very own Morgan who is a very experienced dressmaker, with a background in theatre and costume design.
What you need to bring
Please ensure you bring your overlocker with leads and threads.
Other things you need to know
Please note that the workshops are held upstairs. Once upstairs, the workshop space is on the same floor as the kitchen and bathroom. Refreshments are included in the fee. The workshops at LilyBoo have bought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter.
