Because we are unable to attend the Out of the Darkness walk this year due to scheduling conflicts and the changes in location and time, we are going to be having our own walk to honor Forest, and all others affected by suicide and mental health issues.
I will still create a team through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), and everyone will still register on the team page. Any donations we receive will be collected through our team page and go directly to the AFSP.
We will also be creating shirts and hats for sale with all proceeds also going to the AFSP.
Although this won't be the big event we've grown to love, it will still be meaningful. Hopefully next year they will move the location and time back to a place that's more doable for everyone.

Weenie roast after the walk in the picnic area by Rock Stadium. Hot dogs, chips, cookies and water provided. Bring chairs.
