Join us for a special OPEN MIC night at Thistle & Thorne downtown Panama City! Hosted by local musician and entertainer Nicky Sunflower!
Our weekly Open Mic evening features a wide range of local talent – from seasoned professionals to new players just starting out.
ALL performers are welcome and fully supported. Performers get 15 MINUTES to play (3-4 songs) and they get to keep their tips!
This is a solo player set up, but you are welcome to bring an additional amp to accompany someone but please understand that set up time is included in your 15 mins.
Please bear in mind that Thistle and Thorne is a friendly, family orientated place, please keep your performances clean and respectful towards others. NO POLITICS on the MIC Acapela, Comedy and Poetry are also welcome - you get 8 minutes.
We mainly sign up beforehand though three slots are reserved for those that show up on the night (first come, first serve) The sign-up list will be posted on NICKY HOLT's facebook page (go follower her) every Sunday at 12pm – watch out for it! You can reach out directly to Nicky at

Thistle and Thorne is a tea bar located on Harrison Ave in Panama City. We have beers, wines and a selection of over 50 different teas. We also serve soup and scones and YES we clot our own cream! We look forward to seeing you!
