Join Us on October 25th, 2025 for the 8th Annual Battle Born Train Run in observation of Nevada Day. Nevada (meaning "snow-capped mountains") became a state on October 31st, 1864.
This trail run is 3.6 miles for the 36th state into the Union and a 10.31 mi and 18.64 miler for October 31st, 1864, will be held on the trail courses at Cathedral Gorge State Park. Great scenery and views of the state park and Panaca valley.
Offering 4 distances: 18.64 miler (new this year), 10.31 miler, 1.864k Dash & 3.6 miler with two different times for the 3.6 mi races; a morning race and an evening sunset race. Only the 3.6'er is offered as a morning and sunset race.

Double The Battle add $20, Register & Run a morning distance and then run the sunset 3.6 miler for addtl $15. Comes with another custom medal & a small swag item.

P.M. Races: 3.6 mi - 6:00 pm (No 10.31 miler or 18.64 miler offered).

Custom Finisher Medals to look like a Nevada License Plate to every finishing registered participant.
Custom Awards to top 3 finishers if 8 or entered in each distance. Race director and owner of RRA creates and makes all medals & awards for this race.
Swag will vary from a hat, shirt, socks, glassware, etc. RD tries to be creative.
