IN MEMORY OF DENNIS

5K Walk/Run to Support the Center Pathway Program
https://thecenterpalos.org/dash-for-den/
The opioid epidemic remains a crisis in America.
Making things even worse is the scourge of fentanyl, a synthetic opioid similar to Morph*ne, but 50 to 100 times more potent.
Deaths from synthetic opioid overdose were more than 11 times higher in 2019 than in 2013 and are accelerating.
The CDC reports that over 150 people die every day from overdoses related to synthetic opioids like fentanyl. In 2022, 73,654 people died from a fentanyl overdose. Prevention and access to treatment for opioid addiction and overdose reversal drugs are critical to fighting this epidemic.
We are losing a generation to this disease.
Dennis lost his battle on 2/6/18.
Join us at The Center on October 19th to raise awareness–to humanize addiction–and to help support the Pathway Program at The Center.
There is no entry fee, but you are encouraged to raise money to support those struggling with addiction, and their families. Last year we raised over $25,000 for the Pathway Program.
You do not need to register to join the walk. If you have any questions, contact Maureen at
