About Duel Commander: Duel Commander is a competitive one-on-one format of Magic: The Gathering, where each player builds a 100-card singleton deck led by a legendary creature as their commander. Unlike multiplayer Commander, Duel Commander uses a 20 life starting total and a unique banlist tailored for balanced 1v1 play.
