"Creating the Erie Canal" Movie at the Museum

Historic Palmyra is excited to bring you this incredible story of the creation of the Erie Canal. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Erie Canal. Join us on the lawn at Historic Palmyra's Historical Museum for music, food from the "Lil Red Wagon," and a quick lecture about the Erie Canal. Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy this film on the pioneers and immigrants who discovered the intersection of ambition and opportunity in upstate New York. The Erie Canal Depot will be open for tours with FREE admission.
