Women in STEM Virtual Series- October- Science Graphic Communicator (All)

Join us for another inspiring session in our Women in STEM series! This month, we're featuring Shireen Dooling, a Science Graphic Communicator who blends creativity with scientific precision. With dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Graphic Design and Astrophysics, Shireen creates stunning science infographics and educational visuals - including graphics for Hubble's 35th anniversary! Before diving into space science, Shireen explored the fashion world, designing for New York Fashion Week and dreaming up gowns inspired by nature and the cosmos. She also runs a science-themed Etsy shop that funds mentorship opportunities for girls in STEM. Tune in to hear how a single image of Pluto changed her life, what it's like to design for NASA, and which sour candy fuels her creativity!
