Getting Involved at the Bake Oven Knob Hawk Watch (Virtual)

Description: Are you interested in counting birds for science while enjoying scenic views? If so, Lehigh Gap Nature Center invites you to volunteer at the Bake Oven Knob Hawk Watch this August through November!

This Zoom program will share how YOU can contribute to the Bake Oven Knob Hawk Count — one of the world’s longest continually running migratory raptor studies. We'll discuss the history of hawk watching, why we count birds, and how you can make a difference at Bake Oven Knob this year. No birding experience is needed to get started. Whether you are an experienced birder or just enjoy being outdoors, we could use your help!

Location: Virtual. All registrants will receive a Zoom link via email ahead of the program.
