ADF&G invites individuals from diverse backgrounds—community members, hunters, gatherers, conservationists, and everyday nature lovers—to share personal, true stories about interactions with wildlife that have shaped their lives.
Selected storytellers will have an opportunity to polish their seven-minute stories with coaches from the Arctic Entries team, and share them before a live audience at the beautiful Glenn Massay Theater in Palmer on Wednesday, October 29th!
The deadline for submissions is August 31st. We look forward to hearing your stories!
Shaped by Wildlife features "Stories of the Road" a collection real-life accounts from drivers who have been involved in a moose-vehicle collision or a near-miss. Learn more about driving safely in moose country at https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=livewith.drivingmoosecountry
