New workshop this Thursday, in person AND via Zoom! Come learn the basics of composting, which creates a great soil amendment and keeps materials from going to the landfill. Dr. Caley Gasch, a University of Alaska Fairbanks Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station soil scientist, will build a mini compost pile as a demonstration.
This lunch-and-learn event will be at the Matanuska Experiment Farm and Extension Center, 1509 S. Georgeson Drive, Palmer, and via Zoom. Please feel free to bring your lunch if you will be joining us at the farm. We invite you to join us in person to see Caley's demo up close!
