THE CAT SPEAKS, (ONCE AGAIN)

Welcome poets and spoken word speakers, leakers of truth and the otherwise fond of crafted thoughts uttered, muttered and orated. A Poetry Open Mic held in the charming embrace of The Cheshire Cat Motel's penthouse Bungalow. Put your name in the hat at the door upon entry to recite something if you wish. The space will be warm and welcoming for all to come and share with delicious food and wonderful words provided by the the lovely Miss Baylee Forbes

Baylee is a local Gold Coast spoken word poet. Most recently, she’s been sharing tales and rhymes about the journey of pregnancy and early parenthood. Her stories are an anecdote on the complex nuance of what it is to become a mother.
