Join us for a fun and informative historical walking tour of Worth Avenue, led by Mr. Rick Rose, Worth Avenue Association historical docent; to explore the rich architectural history of Palm Beach!  Through colorful anecdotes and commentary, the tour explores the origins and character of Worth Avenue, its unique architecture, including the distinctive Moorish-Mediterranean-style architecture of Addison Mizner, the historical significance of many of the legendary landmarks, and some of its famous residents.

There is hourly metered parking on Worth Avenue and on Peruvian with the ParkMobile App or at the Apollo parking lot Hibiscus for a fee.

Logistics:

The tour is “rain or shine”. Weather-related tour changes/cancellations will be announced by 8:30 a.m. on the tour day, 1.5 hours before the tour begins, and will be posted in EventBrite, where you can view any announcements. No announcements will be made if the tour is scheduled to take place.

The Historical Walking Tour of Worth Avenue is completely wheelchair accessible, as there are no steps throughout the entire tour. The tour is about ¾ miles in length and moves along briskly between stops along the route. Participants with mobility issues are encouraged to use wheelchairs or electric scooters. Wheelchair users are given priority positioning during the stops on the tour. Wheelchairs or scooters are not supplied by tour organizers.
