Our Belt Advancement Ceremonies are back, and this is your BIG chance to earn your next color belt! 🎊 Whether you’re advancing in a group ceremony or prefer a more personal, private session, this special event is one you don’t want to miss.
Here’s the deal:
🔹 Group Belt Advancement Ceremony: This is the traditional ceremony with your classmates, where you’ll showcase everything you've learned.
🔹 Private Belt Advancement Ceremony: Want an extra special, one-on-one experience? Book a private ceremony with just you, your instructor, and your family—it's a personalized way to advance! Note: Private ceremonies are not available for high rank tests.
At this exciting event, you’ll be showing off all the skills you’ve mastered this training cycle—attitude, techniques, patterns, self-defense, and yes, you’ll break a REAL wooden board! 💥 Nervous about breaking that board? Don’t worry—we’ve got a Board Breaking Power Hour to help you prepare and perfect your technique so you can SMASH that board with confidence! 🏆
What to Expect:
🎯 Skills Challenge: You’ll demonstrate your skills in kicking, punching, patterns, self-defense combinations, and contact sparring (for Orange Belts & above).
🎯 Board Breaking: Break that real wooden board and show your strength!
🎯 Cheering Squad: Bring your family and friends to cheer you on—it's a moment worth celebrating! 📸
What You Need:
🧑🎤 What to Wear: Your full uniform (jacket, pants, belt), with both patches sewn on your jacket. (T-shirts are a no-go for this special occasion!)
⚔️ What to Bring: Intermediate & Advanced students, don’t forget your sparring gear - you're required to participate in contact sparring.
Eligibility: You can participate if you’ve completed a full training cycle (at least 5 weeks), met the class attendance requirement, and earned three stripes on your current belt. High ranks must receive instructor approval before registering.
When You Get Your New Belt: If you pass your ceremony, you’ll get your new belt and a certificate at your next class. 🎓
