With light winds forecast all next weekend, we have an ideal opportunity for a relaxed sunset paddle to West Point.
Event Details
• Launch Time: 3:00 PM at Pallarenda Boat Ramp
• Distance: 7km each way (14km total)
• Pace: Cruisy and social – suitable for intermediate paddlers
• West Point: Up to an hour
• Arrive back at Pallarenda: About 6pm
What to Expect
Arrive at West Point with an appetite! The Island Dosa food truck will be serving up authentic Indian fare so bring cash to treat yourself to some food whilst we enjoy the beach. We'll have time to refuel, socialise, and soak in the views before our return journey.
Departure from West Point: Around 5:00 PM to catch the golden hour paddle back to Pallarenda.
Safety & What to Bring
• Headlamp and deck light (essential – we should be back before dark, but safety first!)
• Cash for food
• Usual PFD, water, sun protection and snacks
