In Process: A Real Time Art Experience Event

In Process: A Real Time Art Experience is an exhibition & event at Lake Erie College (LEC) B.K. Smith Gallery that is a reinvention of the popular 48 Hours Event hosted in the past by LEC. In Process celebrates the arts at LEC and in Northeast Ohio. The project will occur from August 18 to October 24, 2025. In Process consists of an exhibition of existing artwork from local Northeast Ohio artists that will occur from August 18 to October 24, 2025. There will be an in-process event on Saturday, September 27, 12 pm-5 pm. During this event, artists included in the exhibition will be onsite working on in-process artwork. During this time, the public will be able to talk to artists about their work and participate in some of the processes. There will be a public postcard mural project facilitated by LEC students, as well as tours of Royce Hall facilities where artists will be working throughout. Artists will include work made during the In-process event on September 27, with their existing work in the exhibition.
