Classics and Jazz

Classics meet jazz with the Lake Effect Concert Band and Polar Vortex jazz ensemble presenting an an exciting afternoon of music at Harvey High School. Lake Effect will play classics from the band repertoire including Gustav Holst's Second Suite in F, a tribute to Aaron Copland, and a medley of classics songs by George Gershwin. Eric Dina will be the featured as trumpet soloist in Escapade by Joseph Turrin and Concert Etude by Alexander Goedicke. Polar Vortex will be swingin' with music by Count Basie, Stan Kenton, and more.

Free; donations greatly appreciated. No tickets required.
Free parking available onsite. ADA accessible.
