Come on out and join us for the Sherwood's next Gathering on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Sept 5-7!
With parties in the campground on Friday night & our community gathering inside the faire Saturday night with an open bar, a fire show and a live band, you're guaranteed to have great time!
On Friday night we'll be allowing Reserved Camping Clans to hold their own events for the gathering. Please post about your events on the various Sherwood-related social media pages so we know where to party-hop!
Saturday night inside the Faire we'll have Solar Rain Fire Dancers performing at Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem Pub, followed by a LIVE BAND TBD.
Free drinks at Ye Trip on Saturday night, and Free camping all weekend! (Fri and Sat nights) Just remember to bring cash to tip your bartenders and performers!
Below are more details about the weekend's events and goings-on:
The camping gates open Friday at noon. Please do not come any sooner, as the gate will not be open and we can't have vehicles stacking up on the highway. So please plan on arriving after 12:00 noon.
Friday night Camps are encouraged to hold their own planned events.
We ask that everyone limit generally-announced events in the campground to Friday night, as we will be hoping the community will come together on Saturday at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Pub.
Saturday morning we'll have our volunteer work day. If you're willing to join us for some projects on the faire grounds you can earn points towards tickets to the faire. You can sign up at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Pub starting at 8:30am if you're willing to pitch in.
At 1:00 pm we'll have a Pizza Lunch for those who helped with Volunteer Efforts.
Sherwood Heralds will hold a Marketing Meeting at 2:00pm Saturday at Elven Hill Stage. Please come pick up some temporary fliers and we'll be able to tell you all about Heralds of Sherwood, a program where you can earn credit for distributing these marketing materials in your area.
On Saturday evening we'll start the night off with the bar opening around 5:00 pm, and we'll hold a Potluck Dinner starting at about 6:30pm.
Then starting at 8:00pm, we'll hold both events that we used to book on different nights. Solar Rain will perform across the road from Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Pub, and then a LIVE BAND TBD will rock your socks off from the Trip to Jerusalem Stage! The bar will be tip-only, so you won't have to pay for drinks like beer or mead or sodas or waters, but it's great to bring some cash to tip your bartenders and the amazing performers who will be entertaining you that evening. Also look for QR codes for the same purpose in case you come cash-free.
On Sunday our gates will close at 12:00 Noon, so please plan accordingly. The faire grounds will be open for morning walks, but please avoid construction areas.
