Big Night In feat. Shane Hannan (trombone)

Come along for a great night of jazz and contemporary music with the staff, students and alumni of CQUniversity's Bachelor of Music, featuring guest artist Shane Hannan (trombone).

About Shane:
Shane Hannan is a versatile Australian trombonist known for his dynamic performances across jazz, Latin, and contemporary styles. Based in Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW, he regularly appears at major events including Byron Bay Bluesfest and Ministry of Sound. Shane performs with Nicki Parrott’s Northern Rivers Band and has worked with Afro-Cuban ensemble Chukale, showcasing his broad stylistic range and collaborative spirit.

Shane has professional theatre experience, most recently in the professional production of Chicago at QPAC in 2024, and his recording credits include work with acclaimed Salsa Ensemble Chukale, on Elvis and the acclaimed children's show, Bluey.
