Connecticut Roller Derby, Inc. is Connecticut's first female flat track roller derby league. Established in March 2006, we are proud to represent Connecticut as part of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in local, regional and national competitions. Connecticut Roller Derby, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
Mission Statement
The following are the purposes for which CTRD has been organized:
To operate as a financially sustainable, non-profit, flat track roller derby league for women and gender-expansive athletes, that fosters community, sportswomanship, and athleticism.
To represent the State of Connecticut in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in local, regional, national, and international competition.
To act as role models to people of all ages through our strength, health, and diversity
To instill a sense of family, loyalty, hard work, and competitiveness in all of our skaters.
