Since 1991 Richard Breedwell has worked in the financial services industry with a focus on retirement income and investment planning. With a B.S. in finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, Richard has managed and owned his firm with offices in the Sacramento area since 1998, when he decided to become an independent financial planner held to the fiduciary standard. As a registered investment advisor, he is licensed to buy and sell market securities, but more than that, he specializes in holistic wealth building to help clients make better financial decisions by providing them with the tools, education materials, and allocation strategies they need. As a fiduciary held to the highest standards in the industry, he works alongside his son, Ryan, and the team at Capitol Planning Group to meet the individual needs of clients by providing unparalleled service in all the areas that can affect the outcome of your financial plan. This includes making better-informed decisions about market risk, taxes, Social Security, pension plans, 401(k) rollovers, long-term care, and legacy planning. Richard is a Dave Ramsey endorsed local financial planner as part of the Smartvestor program. When not running his company or meeting with clients in Northern California, he can be found spending time with his three kids and his wife of 31 years, Debbie Breedwell.
