Amy Rice, MS, is a lifelong musician and lover of sacred sounds, dances and yoga. Her entry into Energy Medicine began with Usui Reiki certification 30 years ago in all three levels and the journey continues and is foundational in holding space and energy for people and animals to access their own inner healing resources. As a long time special education teacher, Amy has incorporated a variety of therapeutic sound and music modalities to assist students with creativity, focusing, stress reduction, trauma management, and relaxation. She has studied with Jonathan Goldman, Githa Ben David, and also received her certification in Lincoln, NE as a Vibrational Sound Therapist using specialized Himalayan bowls and gongs for individual sound healing sessions that combine Traditional Chinese Medicine with intuitive focus to bring the Meridian systems into balance. She has been collecting bowls, gongs, and a wide range of resonant instruments for the past 28 years and has facilitated Sound Immersions and retreats in a variety of venues throughout the Midwest.
