The mission of the quarterly Idyllwild Songwriters Festivals is to present a diverse, inclusive, locally representative event featuring singer songwriters, while raising funds for the Idyllwild Help Center and promoting Idyllwild as a cultural destination. Each festival follows a week long Idyllwild Listening Room Songwriting Retreat, led by festival/retreats founder Brett Perkins, former National Academy of Songwriters C.E.O.
