Journeys Program

Journeys is a program of the Catholic Charities Diocese of La Crosse Family Services Department supporting individuals and families impacted by adoption or out-of-home care. Our program is built on collaboration with individuals, professionals, organizations and community members throughout Wisconsin.  Through Journeys, Catholic Charities operates the Regional aspect of the Wisconsin Family Connections Center (WiFCC), funded by a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families. The WiFCC provides support and services to parents and caregivers across the continuum of kinship care, foster care, and post-post permanency, including reunification, guardianship, and adoption. The WiFCC also serves as an excellent resource for professionals serving these families and caregivers. Another major partner of our Journeys Program is the Jockey Being Family Foundation. Jockey Being Family supports and strengthens foster and adoptive families by enabling them to provide critical post-adoption services on both local and national levels.
