Kat Nelson is the founder and artistic director of Alley Kat Adventures - an Austin-based event design boutique with a presence in 30 cities in the US and Mexico. Kat's cohosts range from actors to teachers to pre-med students, etc. Originally from the Carolinas, Kat is naturally hospitable! She is also a freelance event specialist and a SAG actress with principal TV, film and national commercial/print credits. In addition, she is a former teacher (of 14 years) with a MED and a National Board certification. Prior to launching her own business, Kat has led marketing teams for countless brands, such as Facebook, NVIDIA, and Avid. A proud Austinite for over 12 years, she loves connecting with others from all over the world!
