Weaving with harakeke native flax
Local weaver Ara Swanney will teach about harvesting and preparing harakeke (native flax) into strips ready to weave. The class will then weave their choice of a simple basket (konae) or flower (putiputi).
• What - 2 hr workshop
• When - 11am-1pm on Tuesday 16 September 2025
• Where - St Marks, 98 Rāwhiti Road, Pukerua Bay (opposite school)
