Digitropica - 2025 UNSW Art & Design Animation and Moving Image Festival

Digitropica is the 2025 UNSW Art & Design Animation and Moving Image Festival, an exhibition and screening of works by students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Moving Image and Master of Animation and Visual Effects cohorts.

The festival showcases the works of nearly 60 students across multiple disciplines. Works on display will span across animation, visual effects, moving image, sound, 3D visualisation, interactive art, interdisciplinary projects, and installations. They give exploratory and experimental forms to the dynamic and vivid imaginations of this diverse group of emerging practitioners.

The event is an opportunity to engage with the media arts community of UNSW Art & Design and experience a diverse range of works from a new generation of digital artists.

The festival is organised by UNSW Fine Arts Society and UNSW Computer Graphics Society with support from staff.
