Local St. Louis author, Kaelen Felix, will be visiting the library to share from her children's book, Wings and Whispers Tales of Friendship: Volume 1.
Kaelen Felix is a newly published author, illustrator, and graphic artist of her first book she wrote, illustrated, and designed by herself! Miss Felix is from the heart of her hometown, Saint Louis, Missouri, where she has always wanted to be an artist since day one. At two years old, she told her family she wanted to do it, and since then, she has never given up on her creativity.
Even recently, her work has landed on the cover of magazines, KSDK: Today in St. Louis, and she became a Finalist for the American Writing Awards in less than a month of her book being out!
Kaelen is a mixed-media watercolor and pastel etheralist children’s book illustrator, and while her work specializes in earth-friendly characters, she even included her nieces to be a part of this magical adventure, similar to traveling across to spread kindness when times are hard. Come along on her whimsical journey using alliterations and poetry!
