Youth Learn to Hunt

Youth ages under 15, with preference to those that have completed hunter education, are eligible for this free experience. The chapter will provide participants with a hat, vest, eye and ear protection, as well as use of youth shotguns and shells. The chapter will provide breakfast and lunch. Youth will be given shooting and upland hunting instruction, and participate in a controlled, mentored hunt in the field on Iowa's Youth Pheasant Hunting opener.
