The Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts is pleased to announce auditions for its upcoming productions of Holiday at Lebowsky and Frozen. Holiday at Lebowsky will feature 10 performances from December 5-14 and Frozen will feature 3 weekends of performances from February 20-March 8. Specific audition information for each production can be found below:
HOLIDAY AT LEBOWSKY
Auditions are open to vocalists ages 17 and up and dancers ages 8 and up.
Holiday Dance Ensemble Auditions
Dance auditions for the Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts upcoming production of Holiday at Lebowsky will take place Sunday, October 5 at the Lebowsky Center, 122 E Main St, Owosso. Choreographers Garrett Bradley, Erica Bradley and Taylor Engel are seeking dancers ages 8 and up with ballet and jazz training.
Those auditioning should be prepared to learn a brief ballet combination, followed by a jazz combination. Please bring appropriate footwear and attire. Auditions will be conducted by age groups, with dancers ages 8–10 from 10am –11:30am, ages 11-13 from 12 Noon–1:30 pm and ages 14 up from 2pm–3:30pm. Doors will open at 9:30am. All dancers should plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to each audition start time in order to sign in and warm up.

Holiday Vocal Ensemble Auditions
Vocalists are welcome to attend an in-person audition or send in a vocal submission. In-person auditions will be combined with Frozen and will be held on Thursday, October 16 at the Lebowsky Center at 6:30pm with doors opening at 6pm. Online vocal submissions must be completed by Thursday, October 16 at 6:00pm.
Those auditioning for both Frozen and Holiday at Lebowsky are encouraged to choose a brief musical theater song excerpt in the style of the show with piano sheet music or a backing track (no longer than a minute). FROZEN AVAILABLE ROLES
YOUNG ANNA- Energetic, free-spirited younger princess of Arendelle who dotes on every word and movement of Elsa. She is heartbroken when she is isolated from Elsa by their parents.
YOUNG ELSA– Bright, poised, elder princess of Arendelle who adores her younger sister. She aims to be a perfect daughter, but wrestles with a dangerous talent.
ELSA – Reserved and hesitant, yet inherently regal, Elsa makes a stunning new Queen of Arendelle. However, she has been trained for over a decade to fear and hide her magical powers. Strong belter.
ANNA – Optimistic, enthusiastic, and slightly disheveled Princess of Arendelle. Naturally funny and courageously fearless, her greatest flaw – and her greatest strength – is her faith in love. Strong belter with soprano/mix.
KRISTOFF – A human orphan raised by Hidden Folk in the forest, Kristoff is a self-reliant ice-seller & Mountain Man whose best friend is a reindeer, for whom he provides a voice so they can have conversations.
HANS – The youngest of thirteen brothers, Prince Hans of the Southern Isles is a real charmer. Anna falls for his open wittiness on the spot – he gets her.
OLAF – A big-voiced snowman created by Elsa’s magic, Olaf is pure innocence, completely content to be anywhere, doing anything. Olaf will be a large puppet and require puppeteering.
SVEN – The lovable reindeer & sidekick to Kristoff. Funny, inquisitive, and intuitive. Requires strong upper body and core strength and stamina to operate a full body puppet.
OAKEN– An exceedingly cheerful and convivial wandering salesperson and ardent devotee to all things cozy and comfortable. He is a peppy peddler of infectious warmth with flair and good humor.
KING AGNARR– The warm-hearted ruler of Arendelle is committed to protecting both his family and the Townspeople from his eldest daughter's powers.
QUEEN IDUNA- Caring Queen of Arendelle and daughter of the Northern Nomads, she is compassionate and maternal.
PABBIE – Mystical leader of the Hidden Folk who saves Young Anna’s life.
BULDA– Mystical leader of the Hidden Folk who has a soft spot for “strays”.
WESELTON – A chauvinistic, intolerant diplomat, the Duke of Weselton seeks any opportunity to get ahead.
