Sewing Circle - Folded Four Patch Coaster

Sew a coaster with a textured layered look. The folds overlap, creating a central, stitched square with four fabric "flaps" or "petals" radiating from it. This beginner friendly project involves simple straight-line sewing. The project is ideal for gifts or home decor. Must be able to operate your sewing machine unassisted. Besides your basic sewing kit, please bring a light colored and a dark colored fat quarter (18"x22" fabric pieces).
