location: Armed Missouri Inc 2812 Mt Sterling Rd, Bland, MO 65014
Becoming a Red Cross Instructor is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. Not only do you have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others by teaching them essential lifesaving skills, but you also become part of a highly trained, elite group of professionals. Our instructors teach to an average of 5.8 million people a year in businesses, schools and communities.
Instructor certifications are valid for 2 years. Instructors may also be required to maintain basic level (provider) certification as required in the program area.
Instructor certification renewal is simple. Most Red Cross Instructors are required to complete an online recertification course. In addition, Instructors must also teach a minimum number of courses dependent on the program area. Lifeguarding Instructors are required to complete an in-person renewal course.
