Join us at the museum on Friday, December 19th for the second annual Voice’s of Anderson’s: A Christmas Bazaar, held inside the historic S.W. Anderson’s department store building. 🎄
🎅 Enjoy theatrical vignettes performed by local actors as they share stories of Anderson’s Department Store and other heart warming Owensboro holiday traditions- ranging from the S.W. Anderson’s Elevator Woman to Robert and Peggy Darling, a local couple who played Mr. and Mrs. Claus from the 1940s-1970s.
🛍️ Support small businesses by doing your holiday shopping in the Mammoth Lobby at our Christmas Bazaar with 15 local vendors selling handmade items including pottery, soaps, woodwork, ornaments, jewelry, and more- all while listening to Christmas music as it’s performed live. And of course, it isn’t a bazaar without homemade delicacies from local bakers and food artisans!
🍬 While you’re shopping, be sure to grab some of Anderson’s famous roasted nuts and dime candy at the Anderson’s Candy Shop, a staple of the beloved Anderson’s Department Store. Free cider will be available for each guest!
🎁 Before you go, don’t forget to stop at Anderson’s Gift Wrap Booth and having any gifts you purchased wrapped before you take them home!
Voices of Anderson’s Shows are on the second floor at 6:15pm and 7:15pm. Admission is $5 per person. Reservations are encouraged as space is limited.
