Paper Shredding Collection Event

A Paper Shredding Collection Event is scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Owensboro Sportscenter parking lot.

Piranha Mobile Shredding will collect documents from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until the trucks are full. All Daviess County residents, businesses, and institutions may participate with a limit of 100 lb. per vehicle.

Bring old files, receipts, canceled checks, tax forms, and other confidential documents. This event is not intended for newspapers, magazines, and regular junk mail.

Piranha Mobile Shredding offers this service at no cost to residents. Daviess County Fiscal Court assists with publicizing the event, and the City of Owensboro provides a staging area.
