October Meeting

The OAG will be participating in the Festival of Trees event this year at the Owensboro Museum of Art. If you attended the member show, you saw the storyboard with the color scheme of our tree, inspired by Van Gogh. At the October meeting, we will have small canvases and ceramic ornaments that need to be painted in Van Gogh style. Please join us so we can display your art on our tree! If you are not a painter, there will be other small projects to be done.

Note:

We encourage members to submit a piece of their artwork to display on our tree! We would like it to coordinate with our color scheme in an impressionist style. If it's a painting, use a canvas no larger than 8x10. Your art does not have to be a painting! For instance, Selma is making beautiful wire and beaded ornaments. If you would like to submit your art, we will need it before November 1st. It will be returned to you when the tree is taken down.
