Gather under the energy of the Virgo New Moon—a time of new beginnings, quiet reflection, and heartfelt intention. Virgo, an earth sign, guides us toward clarity, simplicity, and alignment with what truly nourishes both body and spirit. This intimate ceremony offers a chance to pause, slow down, and reconnect with your inner rhythm through the ancient practice of Cha Dao, the “Way of Tea”—a path of mindfulness, stillness, and connection.
About the Ceremony
We’ll begin by exploring the archetype of Virgo and reflecting on how its qualities can inspire and shape our intentions for the lunar cycle ahead. From there, we turn to Tea—Camellia Sinensis—a plant revered for thousands of years and originating in China. Tea offers a profound yet simple way to quiet the mind, soften the heart, and attune to the natural rhythms of life.
We will share several bowls of Living Tea in silence, accompanied by gentle meditative sounds from the crystal bowls, gongs, shanti chimes & more. Following tea, space will be held for reflection and optional sharing.
As a gentle adaptogen, Tea meets us where we are offering grounding if we feel scattered, clarity if we feel clouded, and a balanced flow of energy and peace.
Each bowl of tea is an invitation:
🌿 to be still in a fast-paced world
🌿 to embody presence and intention
🌿 to nourish heart, mind, and spirit
🌿 to connect with self, nature, and all of life
About the Tea
The Living Tea we’ll share is sourced from old-growth Camellia Sinensis trees, grown in biodiverse mountain ecosystems. Whole-leaf and minimally processed, this tea carries the wisdom of the Earth and supports balance in body, mind, and spirit.
For this New Moon, we will drink a tea that resonates with Virgo’s qualities bringing clarity, purification, and gentle grounding, in harmony with Virgo’s call to simplicity and alignment with what truly sustains us. Prepared and poured with intention, the tea itself becomes a ritual, echoing Virgo’s devotion to healing, mindful rhythm, and the sacredness woven into daily practices.
