Glass Jewellery-Making - 4-week block - Ōtaki Beach

Join us for this fabulous block of classes in glass jewellery-making! The course starts on Sunday 23 November and runs for 4 weeks until Sunday 14 Dec, 2.00pm - 5.00pm.

Join us for this fabulous block of classes in glass jewellery-making!

This course is a great way for beginners and those with some experience to get into working with glass to produce beautiful beads that can be used in a myriad of ways.

Beginner students will learn correct tool use, health and safety for lampworking and gain a solid understanding of the basic lampwork process. They will also learn some ways of incorporating their beads into wearable jewellery.

Level 2 students will learn to refine their glass application skills and can begin to practice creating set patterns in their beads. They will be encouraged to develop an eye for design, planning their pieces out and working to master the colours they prefer to use.

Course cost includes set materials, such as glass and some stainless-steel findings. Silver, findings and extra glass are available to purchase in the studio. Early bird price until 12 November is $284 and full price is $315.

People under 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
